Welcome to the Microsoft Atlantic Challenge website.

The Atlantic Challenge came about when a team of like-minded individuals who work in various parts of Microsoft UK decided they needed a new personal challenge. That being to sail across the Atlantic in ARC 2005.

The Atlantic Rally (ARC) is a yearly competition whereby 250 sailing boats race accross the Atlantic from Las Palmas in the Canary Islands to St Lucia in the Caribbean.

Our Itinerary:

12th November - Travel to Las Palmas to prepare the boat
17th November - SteveL's Birthday
20th November - Race starts
26th November - Matt's Birthday - nearly half way!
6th - 10th December - Race Finish in St Lucia
